Booklet for frontline health workers
Frontline health workers were identified to be having significant mental health issues while fighting the Covid-19 pandemic. In response to this the college produced a booklet in Sinhala, Tamil and English which contained practical advice on identifying mental health issues faced by health care workers and how to tackle them. This book was distributed across the island and well received by all categories of health workers. Dr Gihan Abeywardane (President SLCPsych) handed over the first copy of the book to Dr Asela Gunawardane ( DGHS Ministry of Health)
